Seth Rogen Leads the Charge in Apple TV+'s Hilarious New Series
Apple TV+ is set to premiere a fresh and uproarious comedy series, “The Studio,” on March 26, 2025. Created by a powerhouse team of multi-Emmy Award winners Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Seth Rogen, the series takes a comedic deep dive into the chaos and absurdity of the modern film industry.
Seth Rogen stars as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of Continental Studios,
a struggling movie studio fighting to stay relevant. Matt’s dream job quickly becomes a nightmare as he and his team of bickering executives grapple with eccentric artists, demanding corporate overlords, and their own insecurities. Each day presents new challenges—from casting decisions to marketing disasters to award show drama—turning every moment into an opportunity for either dazzling success or catastrophic failure. As a lifelong film enthusiast, Matt is determined to keep movies alive, even if it means risking his sanity in the process.
“The Studio” boasts an ensemble cast as brilliant as its concept. Joining Rogen are Emmy, SAG, and Golden Globe Award winner Catherine O’Hara, Emmy Award nominee Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders. Adding to the star power, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Bryan Cranston will appear as a guest star, promising unforgettable moments.
The 10-episode series features half-hour episodes packed with sharp wit and biting humor. Rogen also serves as writer, director, and executive producer alongside Emmy Award nominee Evan Goldberg. Point Grey Pictures’ James Weaver, Alex McAtee, and Josh Fagen round out the impressive roster of executive producers.
“The Studio” premieres globally on Apple TV+ with its first two episodes dropping on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly every Wednesday, culminating in the season finale on May 21, 2025.
Don’t miss this hilarious behind-the-scenes look at the film industry that only Seth Rogen and his team could deliver. Mark your calendars for a wild ride through the glitz, glamour, and absurdity of Hollywood.
