Set to Thrill Audiences in 2025
A Modern Twist on a Classic Monster Tale Universal Pictures is set to revive the iconic werewolf legend with Wolf Man, a thrilling new feature slated for release on January 17, 2025. Directed by Leigh Whannell (The Invisible Man), this reimagining fuses horror, family drama, and psychological suspense, offering a fresh take on the classic story.
A Stellar Cast Leads the Charge
The film stars Christopher Abbott (Poor Things, It Comes at Night) as Blake, a husband and father from San Francisco who inherits his childhood home in rural Oregon after his father mysteriously vanishes. Joining him is Emmy winner Julia Garner (Ozark, Inventing Anna) as Charlotte, Blake’s ambitious wife, and Matilda Firth (Hullraisers) as their young daughter, Ginger. Sam Jaeger (The Handmaid’s Tale) also stars in a supporting role.
A Chilling Story of Survival and Transformation
Blake’s family arrives at their remote farmhouse one ominous night, only to be ambushed by a feral creature lurking in the shadows. They barricade themselves inside the house, hoping to outlast the danger outside. However, as time drags on, Blake begins to undergo unsettling changes, leaving Charlotte to confront an agonizing dilemma: is the monster inside her husband more dangerous than the one outside?
Visionary Direction and Star-Powered Production
Leigh Whannell brings his acclaimed touch for suspense to the project, building on his success with The Invisible Man. Wolf Man is produced by Jason Blum (Get Out, Halloween), while executive producers include Ryan Gosling, Ken Kao, Bea Sequeira, Mel Turner, and Whannell himself. This all-star team promises a chilling and emotional journey.
